Lacy Rib Coffee Sleeve

I keep seeing cute lil coffee sleeves all over Ravelry-and have been wanting to make some of my own. I figured it would be a good way to practice some Tunisian as well! 🙂 I think it’s a great reusable project, and a cute way to dress up your coffee! ❤

Lacy Rib Coffee Sleeve

k hook

Some WW yarn

Ch 10, pick up back loop of second st from hook and each across. 10 sts

Return row: YO, pull thru one loop, *yo and pull thru two loop* repeat *to*

Row 2: Ch 1, *insert hook as if to do a bpdc around second st from hook, pull up a loop, yo and pull up a loop, insert hook into top chain of next st, yo and pull up a loop* repeat * to * to last st, insert hook to do a Tunisian knit st, yo and pull up a loop, yo and pull up a loop.

Do return row same as above.

Repeat this pattern until piece measures almost around your mug/thermos/cup. You want it to be a lil bit short-almost 1/2 an inch.

Next row: Bind off in knit st. Don’t break yarn!

Ch 10, sl st to opposite end, turn and sl st back across chain thru the back loops. Finish off.

Sew on a button opposite the chain and you’re done!

I added a lil flower to it as well 🙂 dress it up as you see fit! You’ll now have a stylish reusable sleeve!!
